Lets get one thing straight, walking around naked objectifies you.
I think the idea that more liberation comes with less clothing is pathetic. Men and even women need to respect you for your thoughts and ideas, what you bring to the table and how you can handle a situation. Not for how much skin they can see on you. Trust me, it doesn’t take a lot to walk out with nothing on, especially if you look like a victoria’s secret model. It does however, take a lot to get a first class education, make a movement, take a stand and FIGHT for equality.
So yes, this is a generalization and it’s one of those generalizations I will stand by. More skin is not equivalent to fierce or fabulous, it’s rather trashy. It’s rather pitiful that we need to rely on a well toned body to make sure we’ve earned the respect of other people.
So really, get smart, get real, get respect; not naked.
